HELP B-WEAR HONOR BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS AND FIGHTERS THROUGHOUT OCTOBER

Sep 28th 2018

Most people know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and have purchased pink apparel for different events during the month to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. At B-Wear Sportswear and its parent company, 5B’s Screen Print & Embroidery, that fight hit close to home in 2008 when Julie Biles, the wife of CEO Todd Biles, was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since then, behind the inspiration of Julie surviving her battle, B-Wear has made its primary focus for the month of October to support others who are going through that fight. This October, B-Wear wants to use its platform to inspire and show love for the individuals who have overcome and those still fighting this disease.

As we pay honor and show support for all those touched by breast cancer, I reflect back on my own journey and the three things that touched me the most.

• The love and encouragement of my family and friends – No words will ever adequately express my appreciation and gratefulness to them.

• The love of God and my dependence on Him to help me thru the low times and His constant reminder that I was never alone.

• The random acts of kindness by people I didn’t even know – It was the outpouring of their compassion that touched me dearly and prompted me to be a better version of myself.

It is that example set by others that has prompted our family to extend that same gift of love to those you care about.

Join B-Wear as we celebrate survivorship and encourage those still in the fight as we give away shirts as a way to show we care and that we are 100% behind those fighting.

Each submission will be sent this beautifully decorated t-shirt as a reminder of how blessed she is to be Alive and thought of by you!

-- JULIE BILES

This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

--John 15:12 --

NOTE: Originally planning to ship out 500 survivor shirts at the start of the month, due to the outpouring of love B-Wear has received and fulfilled requests for over 1,000 shirts this month. Because of that, the form to submit requests has been taken down if you have any questions please reach out to c_mccune@5bs.com.
